Looking for a refreshing long weekend away with good talks, good friends, and time to breathe?

Join us as we open up 1 Corinthians (chapters 1–4) and hear God’s Word challenge and re-shape the way we think about wisdom, success, unity, and what it means to follow Jesus.

Our guest speaker, Matt Smith (Campus Director, University of Western Australia), will be helping us dig deep into the text as we’re reminded that the message of the cross is the power and wisdom of God—and that boasting belongs to the Lord alone.

Getaway is open to all FOCUS/AFES groups in the ACT and is designed to set you up to live for Christ on campus from the very start of the year. You’ll meet students from across Canberra, grow in your love for Jesus, and enjoy the beauty of the NSW Southern Highlands.

Whether you’re first-year, new to FOCUS, or a seasoned Getaway regular, this is a weekend you won’t want to miss. Come along, build lasting friendships, and be strengthened for the year ahead.
